James Gibbs is the founder of Brainceller and a voiceover artist with a background in professional audio and media production. His career in audio began in 1986 as a radio DJ, where he developed a deep understanding of vocal performance, broadcasting, and sound production. Over the years, he expanded his expertise into music production and media consulting, combining creative talent with technical knowledge.
In 2015, James founded Brainceller as an independent music production company, later releasing his first solo album project in July 2022. Building on that foundation, he shifted his primary focus toward professional voiceover production and audio services, working with media companies, businesses, and organizations that require clear, engaging, and high-quality voice recordings.
Through Brainceller, James is committed to delivering professional voice work and audio production supported by disciplined workflows, precision, and strong communication. His approach blends creative performance with technical production standards, helping clients bring their projects to life with clarity and impact.
Our journey began behind the radio board in 1986, learning how every second on air matters. That discipline still guides our timing, tone, and commitment to professional, dependable delivery for clients.
We founded Brainceller Enterprises in 2015 as a dedicated music production company, then released an independent album in 2022, steadily expanding into a modern, remote-first hub for voiceover and audio production.
Shifting focus in 2023, we built a studio where voiceover is engineered communication, not simply performance. Clear workflows, precise editing, and broadcast-ready quality give clients predictable results and real confidence in every deliverable.
